We have had an increasing number of calls from customers who are asking for 'CHEAP' carpet cleaning.
Despite our current offer 'Pay full price for the 1st room, 2nd room half price and 3rd room just £5' it seems people still want cheaper.
So when asked 'Do you want a professional carpet clean or a cheap one? Why is the reply ' Professional of course!'?
So what is the answer...... should we compromise ?
Should we reduce the level of service we offer, the high standards that we believe in and the customer care that we pride ourselves on?
We could quite easily offer very low prices and with it provide very poor service, cut back on the cleaning products we use, cancel the high insurance premiums that we pay to ensure that the customers possessions are protected if, god forbid, something does go wrong.
We could stop paying out hundreds of pounds for up to date training and save thousands by buying machinery which is not capable of completing the task.
I could go into the costs of maintaining machinery, or how much ongoing training costs to keep up with the ever changing manufacturing methods and materials of carpets and upholstery , and how fuel prices have risen 27% since last year and insurance costs have risen 21% since last year, VAT has increased making everything we buy to complete the task more expensive.
But NO, What we do is charge a reasonable price for a professional to undertake the cleaning of carpets and upholstery , items which when purchased will have used up a VERY large lump sum out of the household budget, and leave the important client feeling money has been spent wisely.
We could tell the customer, yes ill clean your carpets cheap, charge extra for stain removal, leave it to YOU to make sure you move all furniture etc, only clean carpets if the room is empty!
It is our belief that the majority of people expect a professional service when called upon and with that they expect to pay a reasonable price for it.
Yes money is tight, the current climate has dictated this.
Our prices have actually only risen once in the 4 years we have been trading .
So the answer to all the above is NO, We will not compromise on our standards and we will not do CHEAP.
When you book with us you will get a highly competitive price for a first class service and clean.
Isn’t this what all house owners want?
If this is what you expect, a professional service that leaves you content then call Fitz2kleen in the first instance.

All this snow while it may be nice for the kids, can play havoc with your flooring.
SNOW, SALT AND GRIT from your shoes is walked through your carpets where it penetrates deep into the fibres, then as people walk on your carpets this acts as an abrasive and before you know your beautiful carpet is ruined, the backing has rotted away and you need to replace it.
You can prevent this by having your carpets professionally cleaned by trained technicians using powerful equipment which will remove dirt, grit and salt from deep within.
